In this day and age of social media, the viral will conquer. Sharing videos and posts across all social media platform is the best way to get the marketers message out there, and the interesting it is, the more people will be engaged with it.
Take this new one for example. A coffee shop in New York was rigged with fake walls, moveable tables, spring-loaded bookshelves by film crew to prank the patrons who visit the place. Actors were briefed on the premise, and all is done. This stunt is to promote the Carrie remake, which will premier this Friday, October 18th, 2013.
This video has gotten over 12 million views and it only uploaded yesterday.
We can say that the success of this viral video will drive viewers to watch the remake this weekend. It certainly piqued my interest even more…you will surely see me lining up in theatres.
