Ad Spotlight: Jamba Juice – A healthy alternative

Jamba Juice won my heart five years ago when I moved to California. The first time I set foot in the store back in Elk Grove, CA and ordered a sixteen Mango A-Go-Go with a free protein boost, I was consumed by its fruity greatness.

Well, that was five years ago. A lot has changed since then, and Jamba Juice has expanded its marketing mix to cater to the health freaks and fruit lovers alike.

In a span of five years, I’ve noticed subtle changes on my sporadic visits: along with their secret menu, they started adding pizzas, salads, wraps, sandwiches, on top of some of their protein sticks, and fiber muffins. Then, the parfaits came along as an added breakfast item. And now…the latest addition, coffees and soy hot chocolates. Interesting menu items and a wide variety of selection, but Jamba Juice has not strayed away from its purpose; and that’s to serve a healthy alternative to what we normally eat.

All Jamba wants is to make your body and mine feel…freakin’ healthy!

  1. I know jamba juice is delicious, but it is far from healthy! Thanks to the new labeling laws, you will soon be able to see the hidden calories in those mega sized smoothies before you indulge.

    1. I know it’s not THAT healthy, but better than chocolate/vanilla shakes! Or Ice cream malted. =P
