It’s the fastest way to get your word across which is why a lot of advertisers, marketers, media, PR rely on this tool because it’s cheap, free and it can reach a lot of their target audience. It’s not really about how many friends, followers, or subscribers you have (though that does help boost up some self-confidence), it’s about building relationships and credibility. Finding that common interest with one another and sharing relevant information to everyone!
Where do you fit in?
Bottom line: You need to find your social media persona and that niche. If you can’t find that niche, well create your own (define your own)! The whole secret about social media is that there is no secret. Engage your friends and followers with worthy topics and information, and be consistent with what you’re sharing. Don’t take it personal or be disappointed if you lose followers/friends or if they don’t add you. Follow the people you like. Build those relationships. Be nice, and they’ll come to you.
