Feed Me: Making art and lovin’ it…Eventually.

Hello Readers (whoever you may be),

I know I haven’t blogged for a while. To tell the truth, I haven’t had any thoughts of what content I want to write. I can’t exactly just write about anything for the sake of writing something…although, as I’m writing this, something automatically popped in my head. I may as well, write about that, no?

I haven’t exactly seen the premiere of Bravo’s new reality TV competition called Work Of Art. If you guys don’t know what it is, it’s another installment of Top Chef, Project Runway, etc., where talented people join a competition and win something grand in the end. You know how it works. Well, I caught a glimpse of it yesterday, and I immediately became intrigued by the concept. It brought me back to my high school days back at Arts Magnet, where the teachers would give us an assignment, and we were to create something and make it look really awesome or badass. In some cases, some of us just wing it so we get a grade.

Before I digress anymore, I have seen four episodes of Work Of Art, all thanks to Comcast On Demand. My muse finally kicked me in the ass and gave me back a boost of creative interest that I have placed in the back burner for quite some time.

Making art is something that is very therapeutic. I find a sense of comfort and solace when I’m alone and when I’m in the company of what I’m creating. Give me some music or some good TV to watch with some snacks, and I’m complete! Currently, I’ve been exercising my painting skills, and that’s where I want to concentrate my creative energy in. Another creation in the works, perhaps? Maybe I’ll start one today.

Thanks for reading my many thoughts in tangent. More like ramblings, but who cares?
